My Trip to NJ
WooHoo! It was awesome! The kids and I really enjoyed our stay at the Zimmerman Household (Thanks Mike for being so cool with us staying 2 whole weeks!). It was great to see the Sweeney's and the Midgette's and Sharon!!!!! I am so excited Sharon and her naked man Josh are getting married in March! She is going to be a gorgeous bride! My greatest memories...Anchorage, Longport, "NO!", "You know you want me" and house hunting...goodness I have so many more! Love you all!
Sorry...
I have been terrible about updating my blog but from now on I will put forth my best effort to write in it every day or every other day (probably more realistic!). I do have some things I want to put out there...so here are a bunch of blogs to put you up to speed.....

Vision in White
I just finished reading "Vision in White" by Nora Roberts and it was fantastic! Can't wait for book #2 "Bed of Roses" that comes out this fall. I also recently finished book #2 of the McCade Bothers by Nora Roberts and I loved it. The McCade brothers are definitely what fantasies are made of. Strong, passionate, fierce lovers (on both counts) and funny. If you get a chance to go to a bookstore I highly recommend these fantastic reads! D*

Movies...
This weekend I saw 2 very different movies. The Curious Case of Benjamin Button and Underworld Rise of the Lycans. Great movies and lots of fun to watch. But I have to say that The CC of BB was fantastic! I laughed and cried through out the entire movie! A definite must see if you haven't already. D*

I know I shoudn't have been smoking but with all that alchohol I couldn't help myself! Kerri and I at The Delano.
Me, Jen, Heather and Kerri at Purdy Lounge. The dancing was fun for me and Kerri there.
Fun!!! Kerri and I had a great time with Jen and Heather! We arrived on Friday around 6pm. After checking in we all went to the hotel bar for drinks then went to dinner. After dinner we went back to our hotel to get dresses up for the night. And what a night! We drank a lot but as drunk as we were we remained happy drunks! We all finally got back around 5am to crash.
Sat we woke went to brunch and then to the beach. The water was fabulous!!!! Later in the afternoon we went back to our hotel and got dressed for dinner. After dinner we changed to go out and dance! Again we got in around 5am! Sunday after check out we went to brunch and drove home. Fun! Fun! Fun! Next year we are going to New Orleans!!!!
Work is...
Lots of work!!! I am having a good time coming up with menus and contracts but it is exhausting. I knew it was going to be a lot of work because I am starting from scratch but with having my motherly and housewife duties (which I am not very good at!) it is a lot to do. I have had some very productive meetings and am excited for what is to come. I do love a challenge!!!!
Fantastic new author...
I received my new signed book in the mail last week "Red Fire" from Deirdre Knight. I finally was able to read it a couple of days ago...it was so fabulous I went out the next day and bought the newest in the series "Red Kiss"...it was excellent as well! It left me with many cliffhangers at the end so I cannot wait for the next book to come out. I found a new author I like! Yipee!

Bachelorette
Does anyone (besides me Kerri and T) watch the Bachelorette?! Why didn't anyone tell her that Wes is a scumbag!? And thankgoodness Dave and Juan are gone! With the exception of Wes the rest of the remaining guys are a good bunch. Don't you think?
Meetings
I met with the Executive Chef of Alaqua yesterday and a fabulous rep from the Perfect Wedding Guide. I have a lot of work cut out for me but it's all doable! I really would like to advertise in the PWG and be in there bridal show for Sept. There is going to be a lot of finagaling (did I spell it right) to get what I need from the boss man. Wish me luck!

Lover Avenged
JR Ward has outdone herself! Lover Avenged is by for me the best book of her Blackdagger Brotherhood series. I love love love Rehvenge! I cannot wait to see who's story is next....I am assuming it's John Matthews but you never know. If you have not read this series I urge you to. It's excellent! Especially if you are into the paranormal. The first book is Dark Lover. Enjoy! D*
It's about time...
Well I finally have the time (sort of) to write in my blog. My baby boy is 6 months old and so I am not stinkin tired anymore. I have an exciting new job as the Weddings & Events Consultant for Alaqua Country Club an upscale beautiful place. It was an unexpected opportunity that I couldn't pass up. I get to work from home so I can still be a full time mother to my children. I'll keep you posted on how things go.

First attempt at a birthday card
Ok so this was my first attempt at a birthday card. I gave it to my friend Kerri for her birthday in Dec. I followed a sketch challenge so I could have a base for the card. I used SU paper and DCWV paper from the luxury pack. I also used the Birthday Surprise stamp set from Verve. I plan on making more cards soon! Wish me luck!
